Bogdan Szkudlarek – was born in Opole, a graduate of Cracow University of Technology (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and Poznań Technical University (Faculty of Electrical Engineering). He is an amateur radio operator, listener SP-0079-KL and a member of PZK (Polski Związek Krótkofalowców - Polish Amateur Radio Association) since 1981; in 1984 he obtained his first licence SP3NUY and in 2004 he changed his sign for SP3LD; he lives in Kalisz. Between 1985 -1995 he was training the teenagers from the Scout Clubs SP3ZGC and SP3ZJF in Kalisz and during his studies at Cracow University of Technology (1985-1990), he was an instructor of the young people from Chorągiew Krakowska ZHP (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego - Polish Scouting and Guiding Association). He has worked at a great number of scout camps, Chorągiew ZHP Radio Station in Kalisz, where he organized training courses for the novice amateur radio operators.

Apart from that, he supported the foundation of the SP3PKL Club in Kalisz, where he was training students of Adam Mickiewicz University, preparing them to obtain the Short Wave Listener's Licence. He is an active amateur radio operator who works on short waves and ultrasounds 50-144-432-1290 MHz. Currently, he is the chairman of the LOK SP3KQV Club in Kalisz, where he conducts teenage training activity, and together with his friends from the Kalisz Radio Operators Club SP3KQV he has organized many exams for the radio hams in Kalisz, as well as the meetings of amateur radio operators in YKP Kalisz-Szałe (Yacht Klub Polski - Yacht Club of Poland).
He is an enthusiast of the history of the radio, who organized an exhibition about the history of the amateur radio in the Museum of Technology in Opatówek near Kalisz; a military communication equipment collector and amateur historian of communication in the Polish army. Bogdan Szkudlarek is also a member of PZK (Polski Związek Krótkofalowców - Polish Amateur Radio Association), SEP (Stowarzyszenie Elektryków Polskich - Polish Electrical Engineers Association), LOK and GFGF (Gesellschaft der Freunde der Geschichte des Funkwesens).
